Jalepeño Peanut Butter Burger

“The Jalepeño Peanut Butter Burger” is an elusive find at Chubby’s, only to be spotted in the coldest parts of the year (it is their December special). When I saw that an establishment that prides themselves on the quality of their burgers had the audacity to desecrate peanut butter (one of my food groups), with jalepeños and beef, I was left without words. Upon catching my breath, I calmed myself and told myself that this must either be a sick joke, or a magnificent discovery that would be the next major leap in the art of burger-craft. If you raise an eyebrow at this unholy concoction of condiments, know that you are not alone. I, too, was once in the dark. I still don’t understand why or how, but this particular burger works. I suspect if it was prepared by an inexperienced chef, it could be a lethal disaster, but it was through the able hands of the Chubby family that I was able to enlighten my palate. If you are feeling peckish for both a burger and an existential crisis, but cant find anywhere to get both, I recommend making your way to Chubby’s in December.
